Maki's Art
Brisbane-based artist Maki combines her love of origami and Japanese culture to create vibrant, handcrafted jewellery using exquisite Japanese Washi paper. Each piece is carefully folded and preserved in resin for lasting, water-resistant wear, blending traditional techniques with modern flair. Since starting Maki’s Art in 2014, she’s been passionate about sharing the beauty of Japanese artistry—and she’s excited to return to Canberra for her second year at the Nara Candle Festival!
